Outbound calls

Outbound calls are made by assistants with the Outbound role. There are two ways to start them.

Make call on the Calls page	One lead, right now: a follow-up, a test, or a hot lead
Campaigns	Every lead in a batch, at a controlled call rate

Setup

Create an outbound assistant

On the assistant’s Settings tab, set Role to Outbound and Who speaks first? to Agent speaks first.

Set the caller ID

Buy a number on Phone numbers and choose it under Outbound caller ID.

Write a strong first message

The first few seconds decide whether people stay on the line. Say who you are, why you’re calling, and ask permission:

Hi {{customer_name}}, this is Priya from Acme Realty. You enquired about homes in Pune last week. Is now a good time for two minutes?

Add leads

Create a lead batch with names and phone numbers.

Open Calls

Click Calls in the sidebar, then Make call.

Select the lead

Type a name or phone number to search your leads.

Select the assistant

Choose the AI assistant for this call.

Initiate

Click Initiate Call. The call is logged and tracked automatically on the Calls page.

Use a campaign to call every lead in a batch, immediately or on a schedule.
